Admiral Tarek Shahin (Chairman)
Admiral Tarek Shahin is the Chairman of Alexandria Equipment Company and a distinguished Egyptian maritime leader with an extensive career spanning various senior positions in the maritime transport sector. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Marine Studies (1981), a Master’s degree in International Transport and Logistics (2007), and a PhD in Climate Change. Additionally, he is a certified Master Mariner, further underscoring his exceptional expertise in the field.
Admiral Shahin’s leadership journey includes serving as the Chairman of Domiat Port (2015) and later as the Chairman of Alexandria Port Authority from August 2019. In August 2022, he was appointed Executive Managing Director of Port Said Container and Cargo Handling Company, where he continues to play a pivotal role in shaping the maritime and logistics industries. Throughout his career, Admiral Shaheen has made significant contributions to the advancement of Egypt’s port and maritime infrastructure.

A distinguished electromechanical engineer, entrepreneur, and visionary business leader, he has built a solid reputation in the fields of heavy equipment, commercial vehicles, and industrial solutions. Graduating in 2011 from the Faculty of Engineering, Electromechanical Department. Eng. Mohamed Tarek Shahin also gained valuable sales and management experience through his previous roles with international companies in Saudi Arabia and France. This exposure to diverse markets and business environments has further honed his leadership skills and strategic thinking, enabling him to successfully navigate the complexities of the global business landscape. and technical proficiency. Eng Sherif Shahin (Deputy CEO)
Eng. Sherif Shahin is the Deputy CEO at Alex Equipment Co. He holds a Bachelor’s in Electromechanical Engineering and a Masters degree in Electrical and Control Systems. With over 10 years of experience in the petroleum sector, he has worked as a Project Engineer at ENPPI and Technical Office Department Head at Ethydco, contributing to key industrial projects and automation solutions.
As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Cross Borders Company for Packaging. In his current role, he focuses on business growth, strategic partnerships, and delivering high-quality solutions. Eng. Shahin is committed to driving innovation and excellence in every project.
